Application of preshaping technique in Wung procedure of severe asymmetric pectus excavatum

Severe asymmetric pectus excavatum surgery is a technique challenging operation, and it difficult to obtain good results using general Nuss procedure. In order ensure the success of we used special for correction, which Wung procedure designed. Due serious deformity, very correct directly. reduce difficulty, use preshaping in our can fully soften bony structures chest wall depression lay foundation following operation. addition this technique, also made design position steel bars, so as final orthopedic effect. This paper reports application case severe excavatum.
